Days of recollection for the "BetharrAmici"
On 4-6 April, at Fornovo (Parma, Italy) the young Betharramite lay association "BetharrAmici" gathered for three days of reflection and prayer.
The topic was: "Peter, who actually are you?"
It all started by reading a passage from the Gospel of Matthew 14, 22-36 where Jesus walks on the water, and Peter tries to do the same, but, overwhelmed by his fears sinks and is brought to safety by his Master. Just like the apostle, we have experienced in the past and will experience in the future difficult situations in which we will feel alone. In fact this is a test by which we can find out whether we can really trust Him.
The Lord is asking us to continue to trust Him because he trusts us! Jesus is always with us, even if we do not see him , and he loves us as we are.
The young people involved lived a great and meaningful experience in a fraternal and joyful atmosphere.
