Day for Consecrated Life
Saturday, February 1st- The community of Adiapodoumé, guided by his Superior Fr Sylvain Dansou SCJ, participated in the World Day for Consecrated Life at the Shrine of the Sisters of Consolation of Songon.
This meeting was attended by religious communities and communities of apostolic life of Yopougon Diocese. The reflection on the challenges of consecrated life in the context of the new evangelization, the Eucharistic celebration, sharing and prayer of Vespers: these were the key moments of the day.
Fr Edoh Bedjra, Rector of the CFMA (Missionary Training Center in Abidjan) in his reflection highlighted the role of the religious in the new evangelization in Africa: they are called to make the light of Christ brighter in Africa.
The Eucharistic celebration was animated by the "Small Choir S. Michael Garicoïts."
This day was very enriching, because all the participants were able to share prayer, meditation and fellowship.
The participants have already arranged to meet next year!
