On February 9-10, the Betharramite Lay Association Fraternité Me Voici held their annual retreat in the peaceful atmosphere (rainy and cold outside, but warm in the heart) of the community of the Little Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer at Castelnau dEstrétefonds (Toulouse, Haute-Garonne).

Saturday, February 2 Fr Timothy Lehane Barrett, SVD, Secretary General of the Pontifical Society for the Propagation of the Faith, accompanied by Fr Alphonse N'Guessan, National Director of the Pontifical Mission Societies, visited the community of Adiapodoumé to learn more about the proposed extension of the formation house and to give them some help.

Sunday, February 3, the Community of the Parish of Saint Sebastian held a thanksgiving celebration for the 42-year mission, in the social and pastoral field, of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Betharram in the city of Passa Quatro, in the south of Minas Gerais State.

Sunday, January 27th, St. Paul Abadjin-Kouté Major Seminary celebrated its 20th anniversary.
Jordan - Zarqa
On January 6, Solemnity of Epiphany, the bishops of the Holy Land Co-ordination paid a visit to the Syrian refugees in Jordan and ended the day with a solemn celebration in the Parish Zarqa , entrusted to the Betharramite community. The bishops, accompanied by the Patriarch, His Beatitude Fouad Twal, were greeted by Fr Elie Kurzum scj and Fr Eyad Bader scj.
Ivory Coast - Yamoussoukro
On Sunday, January 27th , some young people from Yamoussoukro went for a pilgrimage to Sangrénou (near Djahakro) to celebrate the week prayer for the Christian Unity. They were led by Br Alfred and Fr Arsène who joined them only after celebrating the morning mass in the Parish.
Brazil - Paulinia
On January 27, in the community of St. Francis of Assisi (which is part of the Parish "Our Lady of the Beautiful Branch") in Paulinia, a parish assembly was held with the participation of representatives of all communities and movements of the parish.
Brazil - Belo Horizonte
On January 28, evening, the Religious of the Vicariate of Brazil began their annual Assembly in Belo Horizonte.
Argentina- Buenos Aires
February, 2nd - Fr Ramón Martín scj ("Danielito" or "Martincho"), returned to the Fathers House this morning in a clinic in Buenos Aires at the age of 74 years.

Rome - General House
On January 28th the team of the Betharramite Formation Service started the annual meeting at the Generalate in Rome, called by Fr Laurent Bacho, general councillor for formation, and chaired by Fr Gaspar Fernandez Perez, the superior general.
Thailand - Sampran
On January 24th the formation community "Garicoits House" at Sampran (Thailand) made the monthly recollection on the theme: "How to respond to God's call."

Saturday, January 19, as part of the 150th anniversary of the death of St. Michael, the community of Adiapodoumé organised a vocational day and more than 60 young people (girls and boys) came from different parts of the Abidjan and Yopougon Dioceses.

Thailand - Maepon
On January 4-5, the Karen Tribe of the Chiang Mai Diocese celebrated the 60th anniversary (1952-2012) of their evangelisation in the church of the Assumption at Maepon.
Rome - General House
On January 21st , at the General House in Rome, the members of the Council of the Congregation began work. This Council is composed of Fr Gaspar Fernandez Perez, the Superior General, his Councillors and the Regional Superiors.
India - Bangalore
On January 6th six Betharramite Brothers made their perpetual vows in the Chapel of Shobhana Shaakha, Bangalore.

Sunday, January 13th a youth meeting was held in the parish of Saint Bernard at Adiapodoumé.
France - Pau
Saturday, January 12 the community of Pau hosted a meeting of young Betharramite Religious living in Europe, for a day of sharing, prayer and on-going formation.
Brazil - Vocational Animation
From 2 to 5 January, the Vicariate of Brazil organized a vocational camp in two different places: on January 2-3 at São Gotardo (in the western part of the Minas Gerais State) and on January 4-5 at Setubinha (in the northern part of the same Sate).

Tuesday, January 8th the community of Adiapodoumé celebrated the Mass in honour of the Holy Spirit, as it was recommended by the Blessed Mary of Jesus Crucified.

On December 23rd , the brother of Fr Bernard Béhocaray scj, Mr. Battitte Béhocaray died suddenly at the age of 78, at Chéraute (France).

On December 21st , Br Wagner Aparecido Ferreira, from Brazil, made his final vows in the hands of the Regional Superior, Fr Gustavo Agin, delegate of the Superior General, in the Church of the Sacred Heart of Nova Granada, during the Eucharistic celebration.
Brazil - São Paulo
On December 8th, in the Parish "Our Lady of the Beautiful Branch" in Sao Paulo, our brothers Éder, Francisco and Marcelo were ordained as Deacons.
Jordan - Zarqa
This year, the Parish community of the 12 Apostles of Zarqa (Jordan) could see reflected in the face of the Child Jesus, the face of many Syrian refugee children who found a shelter in the premises of the Parish for a seven-month-long academic year.
