Young people - Pibrac

On 15 June, invited by the Association St. Germaine, by the Diocesan leaders of the youth ministry of Toulouse and the chaplains for the public teaching of Pibrac, more than 150 young people gathered together for a pilgrimage on the occasion of the feast of St. Germaine.  The topic was "With Germaine, the joy of believing."
The meeting started at 15.00 near the native place of St. Germaine. After the welcoming ceremony, four workshops were set up: a workshop called "Kéricube" on the journey of faith in the Bible; a second one on "expressions on the wall"; a third called " stretchers’ race" based on the Gospel of the paralytic and his stretcher; and a fourth one called "flash mob" where young people joined in after S. Mass.
After that the pilgrimage moved towards the basilica where, after being greeted by the bishop, the pilgrims venerated the relics of St. Germaine and took part in the Eucharist. At the end of the Mass, a group photo gathered them on the square of the basilica.
The pilgrimage ended with a concert of the group "Nomad" who accompanied the young people throughout the afternoon.
