Tuesday, 9 July 2013 - The Assembly of the Vicariate of Italy at the end of the canonical visitation of Fr Gaspar, Superior General was held in Albiate.

Tuesday, 9 July 2013 - The Assembly of the Vicariate of Italy at the end of the canonical visitation of Fr Gaspar, Superior General was held in Albiate.
34 religious of the Vicariate were present along with the Regional Superior, Fr Jean-Luc Morin and the Regional Vicar for Italy, Fr Aldo Nespoli.
The meeting was also marked by a thanksgiving Mass for the Religious who are celebrating anniversaries of religious profession and ordination in this jubilee year in honor of St. Michael Garicoïts.
On Tuesday, July 9th , at 9.30 am, the Religious coming from different parts of Italy were welcomed and then the Assembly began.
In the morning the report of Fr Gaspar was reflected upon: each religious was asked share his point of view. At midday Mass was celebrated in honor of St. Michael in the community chapel. During the celebration the Jubilarians expressed their gratitude to God for the gift of consecrated life and priesthood. A festive meal with cake and well-wishing toast followed.
In the afternoon a second meeting was held chaired by the Regional Superior in which the religious reflected on the situation of the Vicariate of Italy. The gathering ended at 4.30 pm; the atmosphere was one of fraternity and simplicity throughout.
