Brazil - Passa Quatro
On October 7, at the College of St. Michael, Passa Quatro (Brazil - MG) there was the first meeting for the presentation and invitation to WYD. With the help of Professor Marciano, one member of each parish community was invited to this meeting. It was attended by 12 people, including brothers Juan Pablo and Jeferson who came from the community of Belo Horizonte, Fr Victor from the community of Sao Paulo Vila Matilde, and Fr Glecimar who belongs to the local community.
Ivory Coast - Yamoussoukro
On Sunday July 30th, after a seven-days retreat with the diocesan priests, Fr Hervé was presented as the new Parish Priest of the Saint Felix Parish of Sinzibo. The members of the community are: Frs Hervé Kouame, Arsène Noba, Théophile Degni and Br Alfred Nandjui.
Ivory Coast - Adiapodoumé
Saturday, October 6th the community of Adiapodoumé inaugurated the new academic year during a Eucharistic celebration in the chapel dedicated to Blessed Miriam of Jesus Crucified.

Sunday 30 September - A Parish retreat was organised in the Sacred Heart Parish of Barracas.

On September 22-29 a group of more than 40 students, alumni, teachers and religious of the Institute of the Sacred Heart of Barracas, carried out their the mission in Choya, Santiago del Estero (Argentina).

Thailand - Chiang Mai
On September 21st the Betharram Alumni met in Chiagmai. The meeting began with a friendly football match and there were 50 participants.
Betharram - Announcement
As already announced in the September issue of the NEF, today, October 1st , we present a prayer that, monthly, will take us to the beginning of the 150th anniversary of the death of St. Michael. This Jubilee Year will be officially opened on May 14th , 2013.

On September 14th , the Religious of the Vicariate of Ivory Coast gathered in a general assembly in the formation house of Adiapodoumé with Fr Jean-Luc Morin (Regional Superior) and Fr Jean-Dominique Delgue (Regional Vicar of France-Spain) to plan the new Academic Year.

On September 14, brothers Elisée Mambo Sika, Hyacinthe Ali Konan and Marius Angui Huberson made the final vows in the Parish church of Saint Bernard in Adiapodoumé in the hands of Fr Jean-Luc Morin, Regional Superior, delegate of the Superior General.

On September 14-16, the lay association of young Betharramites gathered for Camjumita (Camping of the young Betharramites).

Friday, September 21, feast of St. Matthew, the ceremony of admission to the novitiate took place in the novitiate house of Bethlehem.

On September 13, the eve of the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the brothers Armel Daly and Constant Dede were instituted readers.

On September 7-9 was held in the parish of Our Lady of Belo Ramo at Paulinia the meeting of Betharram Lay Associates of the Vicariate of Brazil.
Italy - Desio
On September 21, after a short period of illness, Mrs Maria Sala, aged 87, died at Desio (Italy). She was mother of Br Angelo Sala scj, of the community Saint Michael at Bouar (Central African Republic).
France - Betharram
From the evening of September 13, the feast of the Exaltation of the Cross was celebrated with a moving Eucharistic Celebration in the Chapel of the Resurrection at Betharram. . The chapel was packed ... and also the square was overflowing with people with hardly any room left for the cars.
Paraguay - Capiatá
On September 8-9, the vocation promotion team (Fr Crispin, Br Sixto, Fr Alberto and Br Osmar) held the first meeting in the retreat house of Catapiá (Paraguay). It was attended by two young men from Ciudad del Este, four from San Joaquin and one from Curuguaty.
Italy - Como
On September 16 Mrs Donatella Pesenti died after a short period of illness. She had been for almost 20 years the housekeeper in a Betharram community in charge of the Shrine Our Lady of Caravina (Italy).

On September 9th Fr. Mongkhon organized a gathering of Betharram Alumni at Garicoits house.
Argentina - Buenos Aires
Monday, September 10, the religious of the community in charge of the ministry in Education had an informal meeting with Fr Gaspar Fernández Pérez, Superior General, during his canonical visitation of the Vicariate of Argentina and Uruguay.
Holy Land - Bethlehem
On September 11th, the Plenary Session of the Catholic Ordinary of the Holy Land was held in our community of Bethlehem.
Betharram - Announcement
September 14 - "We take a major step forward when we die to ourselves, we avoid to take overcare about ourselves, we make great strides in denying ourselves and in loving the Cross."

On Saturday 8 of September, as a tribute to Fr Gaspar Fernández Pérez, the Superior General, the communities of Buenos Aires, La Plata, Rosario, Martín Coronado, Adrogué and Barracas gathered in the Regional House, next to the Church of Saint Juan Bautista.

On September 3rd , the Vicariate of Ivory Coast welcomed the Regional Superior, Fr Jean-Luc Morin and the Fathers Jean-Dominique Delgue (Regional Vicar of the Vicariate of France and Spain), Tiziano Pozzi (Regional Vicar of the Vicariate of Central Africa), Br Angelo Sala (religious-in-charge of formation in the Vicariate of Central Africa) and Fr. Simone Panzeri (priest-in-charge of formation in the Vicariate of Italy) arrived in Côte d'Ivoire on August 25th .
Uruguay - Montevideo
In the afternoon of September 11, in Montevideo (Uruguay), Fr. José Maria Ruiz died.
Argentina - Barracas
Saturday September 1st - An important event called the Great Celebration of the Life took place in Barracas. Pupils, youths and teachers of the San José of Buenos Aires and Sagrado Corazón of Barracas took part in it.
India - Mangalore
August 29th The Community of Maria Kripa celebrated the Harvest Festival of Onam, the feast of the people of Kerala.
