Sunday, October 14, at the Major Seminary "St. Paul" in Abadjin-Kouté (Ivory Coast), a Eucharistic Celebration, presided by the Rector Fr Jean Belli, marked the inauguration of the Academic Year.

October 31st This month the Indian Vicariate welcomed the Regional Superior for the canonical visitation of the different communities and Mission Centres in the Diocese of Bangalore: St Thomas parish, HAL where Fr John Britto SCJ is assistant parish priest. St Anthony's Parish Adhigondana Halli where Frs Valan and Arul are Parish Priest and Assitant Parish priest. Holy Name Parish, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, where Fr. Anthony Britto is the Parish priest.
Brazil - Belo Horizonte
On November 2-4, a vocational meeting was held in Belo Horizonte (Brazil) and eight youngsters took part in it. The meeting was organised by the team in charge of vocation promotion in the Vicariate of Brazil (Fr Wagner, Br Eder, Br Davi, Br Jeferson) supported by Br Marcelo and the scholastics.
Argentina - Barracas
On Saturday, November 3rd , hundreds of people (students, teachers, young people and betharramite families), met in the Hermitage of Life, in the Villa (Slum) 21 in Barracas, to celebrate life.
Paraguay - Vicariate
Tuesday, October 30th, the communities of the Vicariate of Paraguay, gathered for the the third "Inter-community Meeting" at La Colmena, Betharramite Parish about 160 km from Asunción.
France - Pau
Sr Agatha Mary, the Superior General of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Apostolic Carmel spent a few days at Maison St. Michel at Pau in order to study future opportunities for the mission which was proposed by the General Chapter 2011.
Thailand - Ban Pong
From 21st to 28th October, a catechesis camp for children (10-13 years old) was held in the Holy Family Centre at Bang Pong. The theme was Believe in Jesus.
India - Mangalore
On October, 26th , the Maria Kripa community conducted a camp for the children of Balayesunilaya, an orfanage run by AC Sisters.
Argentina - Adrogué
From October 26 to October 28, a group of lay people held their annual gathering in Villa Bétharram at Adrogué (Argentina), to share their experience and their faith with the Betharram religious.
Holy Land - Bethlehem
Sunday, October 28, the Mother Church of Jerusalem officially started the year of Faith, launched by Pope Benedict XVI.
Argentina - Villa La Punta
On the occasion of the Mission month and the beginning of the Year of Faith, from the 14 to the 21 of October, the students, the alumni of the Colleges of Sacred Heart and Saint Michael Garicoïts of Rosario, with the betharramite religious, organised the Misión Solidaria in Santiago del Estero, in the Northwest of Argentina.

Holy Land - Bethlehem
The Superior General, Fr Gaspar Fernandez Perez, has been in Bethlehem since 19 of October to preach a retreat to the Carmelite Sisters, who invited him to share with them the spirituality of St. Michael Garicoïts.

On Saturday, October 20th , the young people who were at Betharram in July (26-30) for the Centenary of the Crowning of Our Lady, gathered at Montemurlo (Italy).

On October 9-10 the Sacred Heart Vicariate of India held its 5th General Assembly. On the agenda there were different topics: Good Governance, formation, mission, finances, projects.
Thailand - Sampran
On 27th September 2012, Ban Garicoits Community had a monthly recollection. Fr. Aekarak, a priest of Chantaburi diocese, was the animator of this fruitful event, introduced by Fr. Jiraphat who welcomed everybody.

The betharramite communication team rejoice at the birth of Francisco Schweitzer, son of Naty and Tomy, Betharramite missionaries at Siambón, Tucumán (Argentina).
France - Pibrac
On 30 September, both the parishes of Pibrac and Brax inaugurated the pastoral year. Several events were celebrated on this day. First of all, the parish welcomed the new Parish Priest, Fr Jean-Marie Ruspil scj, who returned this year from the Ivory Coast (Yamoussoukro).

October, 11th - In the evening, the community of Adiapodoumé and the Parish of Saint Bernard, in union with the whole Church, inaugurated the beginning of the Year of Faith with a Holy Hour in front of the blessed Sacrament.
Argentina - Barracas
At the Institute Sacred Heart of Barracas, the year of faith started also for the youngest children with great ceremony: two little girls from the infant school, accompanied by one of the godmothers, received the sacrament of the baptism.
